Flying over Les Alpes in Tandem 6-aug-08

Marius Jansen, member of the Norwegian PAP Team and his quest for the impossible flying over the summit of Les Alpes in a tandem with a total weight of Kgs 228. He flew above the Mont Blanc to a max. altitud of 5009 m with his PAP1400F200 and Ozone, Magnum.

RAMÓN CHAMPION OF SPAIN 2008 1-jun-08

The XII Spanish Championship of Paraengine has been celebrated on May 22nd, 23rd, 24th and 25th in Seville (Lebrija).

In the category take off on foot (PF), our World Champion Ramon Morillas is declared Champion of Spain; being his 8th title. The silver medal was for Juan Jose Garci'a and the one of bronze for also the Andalusian Caesar Maldonado.

Ramon Morillas, PAP pilot, flew with a TOP 80. During the 3 days, with a bad weather, two types of event has been realized: on earth and on the air.

The first one was to demonstrate the precision and ability on a circuit with beacons and second tests was of navigation, distance and permanence in flight.

This summer the European Championship of Paraengine will be celebrated in Poland . Ramon Morillas, like member of the Spanish selection of paraengine, participates from year 1997 in international championships. Since then, he has obtained a total of 8 individual medals and 7 medals like member of the national selection.

MATHIEU TRAVELS TO NEW ZELAND 20-feb-08

The "funny side of the sky team" choose this winter New Zealand as discover, and adventure location.
The team is constitued with 2 paramotor pilots, Mathieu Rouanet and Laurent Salinas, also Sophie Guibal, who is recording the adventure (see funnysideofthesky.com), and Wendy Smith, famous skydiver.

We begun to fly in thge south island, for the "airgames 2007", in Wanaka in december. A lot of performers coming from all around the world met at this lace, and we could see an amazing show, of skydiving, speed riding, acro paraglider, aerobatic planes, and of course paramotor, and many else.

We flewn in enormous valley, we entered some hidden valleys, flew over awsome fjords, in Milford sound, near the mitre peak..... Landscape were just more and more beautifull after each turn... We stood a good month in this south island before to jump in the north.

We are just in process to discover the north island, but we did already some good spots, and good shots in some amazing sites, in paragliding, and in paramotor: hot pools, with millions of colours, boarder of volcanos, soaring sites in awsome dunes, even better than the famous dune du pilat. We also met the ozone kite surfers makers at Raglan, international spot for surfers, and made some good shots, combining both activities.

We're now back in Auckland, preparing the nexts adventures, which will be for sure phenoménal.

NEW ALUMINIUM ARMS 20-ene-08

PAP begins the year incorporating strongers NEW ARMS, of an aluminum alloy 7070, APPROVED BY DULV, and with the fixation of the ring that hooks the harness so that the sewing goes straight and works better. The welded shackles disappeared and, like it is possible to mount them on the old chassis, they will be available separately for whom would like to update their frames.
